Contribution to Wider School Community

-contribute to the life of the school

 2015:

I have continued my role within Kaitiaki this year and have organised a number of events within the school and within the community that I am proud of. There have been three major events and another in the pipeline. I have organised thiese events this year with the support of Kaitiaki, teachers and the Deputy Principal.

Upper Hutt Kapa Haka Festival: St Joseph's were the hosts of this event this year and it was a successful day with the support of Kaitiaki.

Numeracy Evening: The evening came about because the parents within our community wanted help with how they could support their children with Maths at home. The evening was across the school with workshops in each syndicate. The parents and children were free to choose the workshops that best suited them.

Mum's and Son's Evening: A bowling afternoon was organised with over  50 Mum's and Sons attending the event. The previous year had been a Mum's and Daughters and next year will be Dad's and Daughters.
I am passionate about St Joseph's school and being part of the wider school community. I try to get involved as much as I can to show my support to other syndicates, teachers and the community.

 2014 Documentation:
I became a member of Kaitiaki and attend monthly meetings and supported with  fundraising events.

My Class contributed to Art work for the Church when there is a School Mass.

Support other areas of the school when they have events.
