-The way we view and develop our own Professional Development is changing. Yes there is outside support, knowledge and guidance that we can seek, but within our schools and wider educational community there is a wealth of knowledge and experience.

- I have observed Teachers within my own school and teachers at others schools and these are valuable experiences. These experiences have made me challenge my view and push myself to explore and try new things. I have also seen how other schools have implemented BYOD and this has started to shape the changes within my school.

-I was luckily enough to Travel Indonesia through Asia New Zealand and tour the country with other teachers from New Zealand. I connected with a school from St John's and have been building an educational relationship with several teachers from Jakarta. The trip was an eye opening experience where I was emersed into rich culture of Indonesia. It highlighted the importance of goblal citizenship and enabling the students to connect and be part of a global network.

-In 2016 my school is changing the way we approach Professional Development from teachers focusing on a certain targeted curriculum area, to teachers driving their own Professional Development. Professional development is driven by what I need as an individual. This blog will develop and capture my journey.
